What Is Second Life?
SL is a 3-D virtual world created entirely by its millions of residents from all over the globe. It is accessed via the internet (highspeed connection required), using your computer. Once inside Second Life, users can speak live in text chat or voice chat, can roam about the world as any avatar they choose, can build and create their own content, and much more.

Lady Christine In Second Life
This page is new and still under development, as are Lady Christine's plans regarding SL. At some point, She'd like to have Her own island, a castle with a throne-room, and a dungeon with virtual bondage equipment, among other things. Until then, She visits SL several times each week and continues to develop Her SL skills.

Get A Second Life
Want to get in on the fun? (Of course you do.) First, you must join SL. Start with a free account while you learn the ropes. (Tip: when signing up, you must use one of the available last names and your user name will actually be your SL first name. your name can never be changed, so choose it carefully. Pick whatever name you want—as long as it's not crude or offensive. It is acceptable, but not required, to use "hypnosub" in your first name and/or to take the last name "Dreamscape". It is not acceptable to use "Hypnosis Mistress" or "Lady Christine" in your name.) After joining, log in and complete the newbie tutorials (they'll help you learn how to communicate, move your avatar and tweak your appearance).

Note: you may find SL occasionally frustrating. It requires a fairly new and souped up computer (a good video card is especially important). Also, your internet access must be high-speed and reliable. Then there's the learning curve... Those who are willing to work through all of this will discover a rewarding and fun new world. Those who aren't need not apologize, make excuses or ask Lady Christine to provide the SL goodies to them in some other format. Joining SL is an option, not a requirement, and it won't be for everybody.

Once you have learned how to get around in SL, you may introduce yourself to Lady Christine's avatar. Do this by searching for Her name ("HypnosisMistress Dreamscape") and sending Her a note card in-world with your avatar's name and your "first life" info (real name, yahoo id, etc.). Also, search for Lady Christine's SL group ("Hypnosis Mistress Lady Christine") and join it (requires a payment in lindens). Lady Christine will use the SL group to send out notices regarding Her SL activities.
